Cryptik

I've been wanting to do more arty things, or more crafty at least. I've also been getting to grips with my new camera and I'm having lots of fun with that. Looking for a new job as the last one did not pan out quite as I had hoped. Here's to new beginnings :)

The only remotely artistic desire I've had recently is to try capture some of the picturesque scenery around where I live now its all covered in snow, but alas I find my photography skills lacking the camera I've got is not up to much when dealing with the demanding conditions of the subject I'm trying to capture and last but not least I'm snowed in the house and am not committed enough to the cause to leap from a window and hike in deep snow to a suitable vantage point. I was told you have to suffer for all good art so perhaps I'm being a bit soft..?

Well first Devjournal in a while first time I've had anything of semi merit to write. Went for an interview today, small time admin type job aiming somewhat lower than my aspirations when I left uni. Within 15 minutes they told me I wasn't going to get the job. However they are considering creating a position for me, doing much more interesting work and for more money, I got a call this evening to let me know I'll be getting another call tomorrow from their technical director to arrange a follow-up interview with her. Maybe I've just caught a break?
